PERFORMANCE

A large sail area, including our furling code zero, quietly powers the boat through the water even in the lighter conditions often found in the Solent and at only 10.8 tonnes it is easy to see why the smaller self-tacking jib can be deployed to maintain control when the wind speeds increase. This sail plan gives us the advantage of rarely having to motor, which is important for those on board that want to experience the thrill of sailing to the full. Two 40bhp engines are responsible for giving excellent manoeuvrability, unmatched by any monohull, making berthing a joy and allowing for some faster motoring when required.

COMFORT

Unwind on your trip with up to four spacious double cabins with electric heads for guests requiring overnight accommodation. With two shower rooms on-board, staying fresh even on a longer charter is no worry. Upstairs there are very spacious and sociable seating arrangements both inside and out and together with wide gangways on the decks, makes moving around the boat easy and hassle free. The smooth sailing that is associated with catamarans is exemplified in the open 46, where you will always be upright with very little motion even in the choppier weather.
